Clinical Trial Assistance Program

We can help make it possible to participate in a clinical trial.

  1. Resources
  2. Clinical Trial Assistance Program

If you are participating in a clinical trial, the Chordoma Foundation may be able to help relieve some of the financial burden of participating. Our Clinical Trial Assistance Program (CTAP) helps reduce financial barriers to clinical trial participation for chordoma patients by providing reimbursement for travel-related costs associated with participation in eligible clinical trials.

Who is eligible?

This program is open to patients anywhere in the world who:

  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of chordoma
  • Are enrolled in any clinical trial listed on the Drug therapy options page of our website

What does the program cover?

The following costs are allowed if they are related to a clinic visit required by the clinical trial:

  • Travel (air, train, bus, ground transportation)
  • Lodging
  • Fuel
  • Parking
  • Meals

Other costs related to travel will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Travel costs for one caregiver are allowed, if necessary. The program operates on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funding is available.
